India has blown my mind. I didn't think Costa Rica India has blown my mind. I didn't think Costa Rica 2016 could be beaten for Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool 🇮🇳 ❤️ what a country, what a group, what an experience this has been! All feels a bit surreal.

Belated updates up to completion...day five (back up to 100km, circa 6-7 hours with stops). We leave Ranthambore to head towards Bhanderej over mixed terrain (and 2 big hills) + staying overnight in an ancient fort and Palace of Maharaja's

We smashed it, as a group...Day 6 (THE LAST DAY...56kms). Finishing on the outskirts of Jaipur, with a celebratory lunch before we head to Delhi for the return home. The celebration was short but was emotional + lively, before the 7.5 hour bus transfer back to Delhi.

So far, the group has raised over £425,000 https://lnkd.in/e8vg_AxD Literally, just about to take off from Dubai for final leg of return journey, final wrap up + videos/pictures to follow.
India cycle challenge continues...Zoe's Place Baby India cycle challenge continues...Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool

Day three (100km, 6-7 hours in the saddle)
Weaving through the rural parts, which was in complete contrast to Days 1 + 2. At a steady pace, few more hills. We seen places you wouldn't get to usually, and this India adventure/challenge keeps getting better.

Day four (a steady 45km, 2-3 hours but with multiple stops, and the busiest leg by far) an early start but compensated with low km's today. Starting with a sunrise safari around Ranthambore National Park (our truck didn't see the tigers), visiting a local school, local crafts + arts centre + a Hindu temple, legs + arses starting to feel it.

Just on transfer to day five, and ongoing thanks for sponsors, updates next few days on numbers https://cycle4zoes.enthuse.com/pf/alan-robson/post/10400615

India...WOW! 🇮🇳 🚲 Day one (45km, 2-3 hou India...WOW! 🇮🇳 🚲

Day one (45km, 2-3 hours in saddle - visibility poor to start with. They like to burn plastic here)
Today we got started + met our bikes, noting, I have been gifted bike number 13!
The shortest day didn't disappoint + the madness of India went to another level, as we cycled through the deprived but vibrant/lively villages of Fatehpur Sikri to Bharatpur.

Day Two (115km, 7-8 hours in saddle)
The longest day awaited...and the team smashed it, with just over 8 hours in the saddle. We finished in a lively village Karauli, witnessing a bull fight, wild dogs + monkeys everywhere. At times chaos with horns, bikes, tuk tuks, cows + horses was brilliant, but hairy. Captured for our video footage, for post-challenge update.

Thanks again, all https://cycle4zoes.enthuse.com/pf/alan-robson/post/10400615
